Student Accommodation
Below please find a short version of a proposal for student accommodation at Glenwood Lodge.

30 DAY RATES PER CONTRACT: (Resident Guests)
Our rooms / suites are not all the same therefore rates are according to occupancy per room / suite.

Deposit:  A deposit amounting to double a 30 day  rental is payable.

30 Day rentals:  The rent amount is payable in advance on or before the start of every 30 days as per contract.

Included in the price above:

• Furnished (includes 1 TV)
• Linen (including towels)
• Use of Glenwood Lodge facilities
• Water & Electricity limited (Water & electricity may be measured and should consumption exceed the allowed consumption set by Glenwood Lodge Management or by the George Municipality, a penalty charge will be applicable. No electrical appliances other than hairdryers & chargers may be brought into the rooms or suites other than what is supplied by Glenwood Lodge. )
• Housekeeping once a week with linen change.
• Garden Service.
• Secure parking on the premise for resident guests.

Housekeeping:  Additional housekeeping to be booked at the office in advance or stipulated as additional in the contract.

Specials: Discount guest house rates to day visitors or stay over visitors of resident guests.  Enquire at the office.

Facilities:

Included:  Formal lounge, Snooker table, Dining room with indoor fireplace, Swimming pool, braai lapa, tennis court with practice wall, etc.

Excluded:  Private laundry, self serve coffee/tee on the house in the dining room (for guest house guests only), use of main kitchen (private - staff only), towels at swimming pool (Room towels may not be removed from rooms.  Resident guests please bring your own towel to be used at pool area.)

Optional:  Wi-fi hotspot

Visitors: To report at office or as per contract.

Accommodation:

• All rooms/suites will be considered for rental to resident guests on application and depending availability.
• Room furnishing may change for resident guests.
• Resident guest contracts minimum 3 months to 1year.
• We reserve the right to supply any other room/s on the premise should the room/s allocated to you, for whatever reason, become not suitable for living or for any other reason necessary.

Accommodation periods:

Over the school holidays all students have to vacate on the day after the school closes.  All personal items have to be removed from the rooms for the school holidays. 

Rules:

• Parking at designated places on property only.
• No radios or loud noise as to disturb other guests.
• Quiet time at night is 10pm.
• All visitors must report at the office.
• No visitors on the property after 9pm without permission.
• Monkeys may not be fed.
• Glenwood Lodge pets and farm animals may only be fed with manager/owner’s permission and may not be allowed to enter your rooms/suites.
• Pupils/Guests/Visitors are not allowed to bring any pets on the property.
• The use of the main lounge is for adults only (or children under parents/adult supervision).
• No diving or jumping into the swimming pool and no running in swimming pool area.

 Security at present:

• The property is walled and gated at the front and fenced on 3 sides.
• Intercom with camera at gate.
• Resident guests are not allowed to give the gate code to any person/friend or any other guest without management permission.
